250 g walnuts
250 g of sugar
1 egg
Glaze:
4 Tablespoons powdered sugar
juice of one lemon
Preparation:
Whisk 250 g of sugar with one egg yolk, add 250 g of ground walnuts and solid egg whites. Spread the well-mixed mass into a plate three fingers wide and one finger thick. Level it with a knife so that its surface is smooth, then coat it with glaze.
Glaze: Pour four large spoons of powdered sugar into a deep plate and add the juice of one lemon.
Mix well until you get a thick mass that will coat the dough plate.
Cut the coated dough into sticks with a finger wide, place them on a pan coated with butter and keep them in a lukewarm oven for half an hour, to dry.
They should stay white. Leave to cool before serving. Enjoy!
