Turkey Steaks in Wine Sauce

Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min. 3 serving
  • a little Olive oil EVO

  • 600 g of turkey white meat/ thin cut fillets

  • little soft flour for rolling meat

  • 40 g butter

  • 100 ml of dry white wine

  • 200 ml of vegetable broth (1/4 vegetable cube for soup + 200 ml water)

  • 1 teaspoon of mustard

  • salt and black pepper to taste

  • 1 teaspoon marjoram spice

Preparation :
  1. Cut the turkey meat into thin fillets, season with salt, black pepper, and pound the meat with a pestle.

  2. Coat the steaks with mustard in a thin layer on one side, then roll the other side in a little flour, and place them on a plate.

  3. Heat a little oil in a frying pan over moderate heat. Fry the steaks until golden brown on both sides. Take out the fried steaks and put them on a plate.

  4. Add a butter to the same pan, wait for it to melt, return the steaks, pour wine, stir well and wait for the alcohol to evaporate. After that, pour gradually broth over it, add marjoram, season to taste and occasionally stir covered.

  5. Add water as needed, depending on the desired density. Cook about 25–30 minutes.

  6. Add a little water until the desired thickness.

  7. Serve with rice, mashed potatoes or boiled potatoes and a salad of your choice. Buon appetito!
