Topping for Airy pies

  • This is the base topping for all pies to make them airy, it doesn't matter if it's savory or sweet. You add sugar or salt depending on what type of pie you're making. And it can be with cherries, raspberries, pumpkin, with cheese, meat, leeks, spinach, etc. It is easy to prepare and ready quickly. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple. total time: 5 min.
  • 1 dry yeast/ 10 g

  • 2 cups milk/ 400 ml

  • 1 cup of oil/ 200

  • 7 Tbsp flour

  • 1/2 Tbsp salt or sugar/ depending on whether you are making a sweet or savory pie

Preparation:
  1. Mix all the ingredients for the topping in a bowl and mix well.

  2. First coat each crust with this mixture, then fill it in the usual way with the prepared filling(salt or sweet) that goes into the pie according to your recipe.

  3. Pour the rest of the topping over the finished pie and let it stand for 1.5 hours before baking.

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C, until golden brown.

  5. When it is ready, you will see that it will be juicy and airy.
