Sweet Paws Fritters I just love this little dessert0 because they don't require a lot of ingredients and everyone has them at home. I often make them when I really want something sweet and instead of doughnuts. The good thing about this recipe is that you don't have to wait for the dough, you can make it right away. Second, it's easy to make and it's done quickly. It is also not important to inflate the dough like in the case of doughnuts, but to press it so that the air comes out, and the shape itself is reminiscent of little paws. They are ideal for quick breakfasts and dinners, because you don't have to do a lot of work and they are ready quickly! The paws are so delicious, you must try them! Follow the recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 20 min. 14 paws
180 g of flour 00/ smooth
150 ml of yogurt
2 Tbsp of granulated sugar
2 Tbsp of oil
1 egg
1 bag baking powder/ 10 g
1 bag of vanilla sugar/ 10 g
50 ml water as needed/ optional
Preparation:
Pour egg, sugar, vanilla sugar into a deep bowl. Beat with a hand beater, then add oil.
Combine everything, add yogurt, then beat again.
Add flour and baking powder and combine everything with a spoon.
If the dough is thicker than it should be, add a little water 50 ml at a time. You can also add mineral water.
The dough must be stretchy like chewing gum and free of lumps.
Pour into a small cup of lukewarm water and dip the spoon.
With that spoon, you will take out the dough, dip it in water, then in the dough every time.
With half a spoonful of dough, you can take also more, put it in hot oil, fry several pieces, I baked four.
Fry for a few(1–2)minutes on moderate heat, then turn to the other side.
Press with a fork to release the air, then repeat the turning once more and place on a kitchen towel to absorb the excess fat.
Serve with icing sugar, jam, or Nutella.

NOTE:
If you need a larger mixture, double the quantities:
360 g flour, 3 Tbsp sugar, 2 vanilla sugar, 10 g baking powder, 300 ml yogurt,
2 eggs, 4 tsp oil, add a little water as needed.
Keep leftovers in an airtight container with a lid.
