This is a traditional Serbian dish and how it is prepared in the original recipe. The meat is made with a fantastic taste, which it likes as spicy as I do, I warmly recommend. I suggest, if you have decided to make more donuts from meat, to stand 24 hours in the refrigerator. These meat donuts go great with some mild toppings, so head to the sauce and cream category for one of them. With a side dish, you can have vegetables, baked potatoes, rice, mashed potatoes. Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 2 servings
500 g of minced meat
3 eggs
7-8 full Tablespoons flour
150 ml of carbonated mineral water
1/2 tsp ground pepper/ if desired
1 Tbsp red crushed pepper (hot)
2 cloves garlic if desired/ finely chopped
100 ml frying oil
parsley for sprinkle or leek
Preparation:
Put minced meat and all other ingredients in a bowl (if you put garlic, finely chop it), and stir it nicely. Let them stand for 1 hour in the refrigerator.
Remove the donuts with a spoon and fry for a few minutes on both sides in hot, deep oil.
Take the fried donuts out on a napkin to soak up the excess fat. Serve the donuts with the side dish as desired.
The best coating is ajvar or some tomato sauce!
