Spaghetti with Parmesan Sauce and Prosciutto

  • I love spaghetti with Parmesan sauce because it is extremely quick to prepare, and it is also very tasty in combination with bacon or prosciutto. This is an ideal meal if you are in a hurry and don't have much time, everything is extremely easy. Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 25 min. 2 servings
  • 240 g spaghetti

  • 30 g butter

  • 100 g prosciutto / or ham or dry neck cut into thick 3 - 4 mm strips

  • 1 clove of garlic/ minced

  • 300 ml cooking cream

  • 100 ml milk

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper to taste

  • 1/2 tsp oregano

  • 3 Tbsp Parmesan cheese/ grated

  • 2-3 Tbsp liquid of cooked spaghetti

  • basil leaves/ optional for decoration

Preparation:
  1. Prepare all the ingredients as described above.

  2. Pour water into a deep pot, add a teaspoon of salt and a little oil, wait for it to boil. Add the spaghetti to the boiling water and cook according to the instructions on the package. I always cook them alla dente for around 8 minutes. Once you've put the spaghetti in, start making the sauce right away.

  3. Fry the sliced dry neck in little oil, until well browned, add chopped garlic and butter until fragrant, immediately add cooking cream, black pepper, oregano, and milk stir all well and reduce the heat. Cook about 6 minutes, with occasionally stirring.

  4. Before draining the spaghetti, scoop up the liquid with a ladle and pour it into a cup.

  5. Leave the strained spaghetti in a colander for a while.

  6. When the cream started to thicken, add the spaghetti and 3 spoons of the liquid in which the spaghetti was cooked, immediately add 3 spoons of Parmesan cheese and quickly mix everything about 1 minute, turn off heat.

  7. Serve in warm in plate with basil leaves.

Buon appetito!

NOTE:

  • If you don't have cooking cream, you can use neutral cream cheese, Philadelphia or another, and mix it with a little milk.
