Stewed carrots are an excellent side dish that goes with any meat as an addition, it is prepared easily and quickly. Follow the recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 4 serving
500 g of carrots/peeled and cut into thin rings
2 Tbsp Olive oil EVO
1 small onion/ finely chopped
200 ml of water
1 tsp dry spice Vegeta
20 g butter
salt and pepper to taste
fresh parsley or weed dill to taste / finely chopped
Preparation:
Peel and wash the carrots, then dry them well with kitchen paper.
Cut them diagonally into thin circles, if you want you can also cut them into regular circles without a diagonal, I think it looks better this way.
Chop the onion finely by hand add it in a wok pan, cover it with olive oil.
Heat on moderate heat, stir until it becomes glassy.
Add carrots, Vegeta dry seasoning, a little water and stir. Simmer for about 10 minutes, covered, stirring occasionally.
Add a little water gradually until the carrots are soft. In the meantime, a weed dill or parsley, cook on low to moderate heat. Add water as needed every 10 minutes and stir occasionally.
Five minutes before the end, add a butter, to the carrots and cook until the end.
Turn off the heat and serve as a side dish with other dishes.
