A wonderful poppy filling simple recipe for all kinds of pastries, cakes, pies, and strudels and even biscuits. It's easy to prepare and ready in just 20 minutes. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 20 min.
250 g poppy seeds/ ground
150-170 ml milk
1 bag vanilla sugar
4 Tbsp granulated sugar
(You can add jam of plums, raisins depending of dessert)
Preparation:
Pour milk, sugar, vanilla sugar into a small saucepan and wait until it heats up and the sugar melts.
After that, add poppy seeds and mix constantly until the filling becomes thick.
Cook from boiling for another 3 minutes.
Turn off and leave the filling to cool.
After that do coating.
You can fill pastries, biscuits, strudels, cakes, pies and even pancakes with this filling.

NOTE:
This is the amount for 1 strudel or for two smaller strudels, depending on how much you need, increase the ingredients.
You can keep this filling in the refrigerator for up to 5 days in a jar or in a cream container.
You can freeze them and store them for up to 2 months in a special container with a lid.
