A real protein meal that is light and ideal for dinner, a summer dish that is easy to prepare and does not require much time in the kitchen. It has a phenomenal taste and smell, you can make it with various boiled vegetables, rice pasta. Here is this beautiful recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min, 2 servings
460 g large frozen pre-cooked shrimp
3 Tbsp minced garlic in oil
3 Tbsp butter, cubed
3 Tbsp lemon juice
1 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes or red ground pepper
1/2 Tbsp dried parsley leaves
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation:
Put the frozen shrimp in a strainer and let a stream of cold water run and let it simmer for about 3–4 minutes. Leave them to drain well.
Meanwhile, prepare a deeper pan and combine the olive oil and let it heat over a slightly moderate heat. Put the red pepper flakes in the pan (it gives a special taste to this dish) and let it work for a few minutes, until the oil heats up well and starts to smoke.
Add the shrimp that you have drained well and dry with a napkin, a clove of garlic, butter, and lemon juice that you have previously drained.
Cook the shrimp until they get a brownish color for about a minute, if you use fresh shrimp, then you will need more time for about 10 to 15 minutes. Add a little water if you required.
After the shrimp are ready, add the primrose leaves, season with salt and pepper to your taste.
Serve your shrimp with pasta, rice, linguine or with some vegetable broccoli, cauliflower, boiled potatoes with chard. Added lemon rings on a plate.
Buon appetito!
