Rice Pudding
This dessert always takes me back to my childhood, and I remember my mother making it for me at least once every two weeks. A simple and quick dessert made of rice and milk. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min.
1 cup of short grain rice/ 200 ml
4 glasses of milk/ with 3.5% milk fat/ 800 ml
1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g or 1 tsp aroma
6 Tbsp of granulated sugar
water
cinnamon and raisins to taste
pinch of salt
Preparation:
Clean and wash the rice under running water.
Then pour it into a pan, pour one finger more than the rice, cook at medium temperature with a pinch of salt.
Stir the rice during cooking, so that it does not burn and stick to the pan, which can spoil its taste.
When the water boils, add a little more water, but gradually pour and mix the rice.
When all the water evaporates, pour milk, sugar and vanilla sugar, then when it swells a little, add raisins to taste.
Cooking takes about 15 minutes.
When the rice is cooked, turn off the heat.
Pour the rice into smaller bowls that you have previously moistened with water.
Leave to cool and sprinkle with cinnamon to taste.
Serve cooled dessert.

Keep the dessert in the fridge for up to 3 days.
