Pumpkin Roll Dessert

  • A simple pumpkin roll dessert cake that is easy to prepare and ready to eat, very tasty and soft. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: cup measure 200 ml, simple, total time: 45 min.

Crust:

  • 4 eggs

  • 240 g of mashed pumpkin

  • 140 g of flour

  • 200 of granulated sugar

  • 1 baking powder/ 10 g

  • 1 bag of cinnamon/ 10 g

  • 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

Filling:

  • 300 g of cream cheese

  • 125 g butter

  • 50 g of powdered sugar

  • 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g

For Sprinkling:

  • powdered sugar

  • cherry thick syrup

  • chocolate melted

Preparation:

Crust:

  1. Heat the oven to 200 °C.

  2. Clean the pumpkin, boil it until soft, then mash it.

  3. Mix flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a bowl.

  4. In another bowl, beat the whole eggs, add both sugars and beat until the mixture is foamy.

  5. Add the mashed pumpkin and mix. Add a mixture of flour and baking powder to the mixture and mix with a spatula.

  6. Pour the mixture into a pan greased and lined with baking paper.

  7. Bake for about 20 minutes, in an oven heated to 200 °C.

  8. Check the dough with a toothpick, if it's dry, it's done.

  9. Sprinkle a clean cloth with powdered sugar, then put the crust on top, so that the paper is on top.

  10. After that, remove the paper and roll up the crust.

  11. Leave to cool.

Filling:

  1. Beat the cream cheese with both sugars and butter, until you get a uniform and smooth cream.

  2. Unroll the crust and file, straighten, then roll again.

  3. Place the roll in the fridge to firm up. Before serving, sprinkle with powdered sugar or with fruit syrup or chocolate.

  4. Serve.
