Pork with Asparagus in a Quick Way

  • Quickly prepared pork with the addition of asparagus, with a phenomenal taste and aroma in the Chinese way of preparation. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: total time 45 min, easy, 4 persons

Pork and Asparagus:

  • 700 g pork meat/ without fat/ diced on 2.5-3 cm

  • 3 Tablespoons soy sauce with a 100 mineral water/ or water

  • 1. 5 Tbsp cornstarch

  • 1 teaspoon dry spice/ Vegeta

  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 4 Tbsp vegetable oil

  • 2 shallots/ finely chopped

  • 400 g asparagus/ cut into 2.5-3 cm pieces-boiled 2 min.

Garnish:

  • 1 finely sliced spring onions/ for garnish

  • toasted sesame seeds without oil/ for garnish

Preparation:
  • If you have decided on rice, start with it first.

RICE:

  1. Wash the rice under running water and leave it in a colander to dry. About 10 minutes.

  2. Pour olive oil into a small pan and fry the rice for about 2 minutes, over moderate heat. Pour hot water, add salt to taste, stir, and cover the pan. When the rice has absorbed the water, add the same amount of water and cover the pan, stir and cook for 7 minutes and finally add the third amount of water. Cook on low heat until the rice swells. Put out the fire.

PORK AND ASPARAGUS:

  1. Use a sharp knife to cut the pork roast in half lengthwise, then cut it crosswise into thin slices. You can also slice on cubes 2.5 cm.

  2. Wash the asparagus under a stream of water and separate the lower part of the hard part and chop it into pieces about 3 cm.

  3. Clean the shallots and finely chop.

  4. Cook the cut-out asparagus in boiling salted water for 2 minutes.

  5. In a large bowl, stir the pork with soy sauce, cornstarch, black pepper, a pinch of salt, and dry spice/ Vegeta ,let stand for 15 min.

  6. Heat a large wok pan over medium heat, add 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil and finely chopped shallots. Fry them until it is transparent, about 2 minutes, and constantly stir.

  7. Add the pork and spread it evenly in wok pan. Cook the pork until golden brown on the bottom, 3–5 minutes, then add 150 ml water and stir occasionally.

  8. Continue to cook the pork, with stirring, and covered, about 20 minutes. When cooking, add a little more water as needed, we need sauce.

  9. After the time has passed, remove the meat to a deep plate with the help of a slotted spoon, and add the sauce to a small saucepan.

  10. Pour olive oil into the same pan. Fry the asparagus for about 5 minutes, stirring constantly. After the specified time, return the meat and stew for about 2 minutes, then add the sauce. Control the taste and add seasonings as needed. Cook for another 4–5 minutes and turn off the heat.

  11. Fry the sesame seeds in a pan without oil and finely chop the spring onions for decoration. If you don't have it, it's not a problem, you can do without it.

  12. Serve the pork garnished with sliced ​​spring onions and sesame seeds.

  13. Serve warm with boiled white rice.
