I started making pancakes for the first time when I was 12 years old, but my brother was already a real master at it. Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min.
200 g flour
200 ml milk
200 ml mineral (sour) water
2 Tablespoons oil
1 vanilla sugar/ 10 g
1 lemon peel
1 whole egg
1 egg white
a pinch of salt
and a good pancake pan
Preparation:
Whisk the milk and egg with a mixer, then add sour water, vanilla sugar, lemon peel, oil, and flour. Separately, whisk 1 egg white with a mixer, gradually stir it into the pancake mixture with a spoon.
Bake the pancakes in very little oil, let the oil heat up well before, so that you can find a thin plastic knife as an aid with which you will turn them over.
Bake the pancakes for about 1–2 minutes, they should get a nice yellowish and brown color, so turn them to the other side, for a few more minutes.
Smear them with walnut jam, or Nutella, maybe with just sugar. How you prefer.
