Pancakes

  • Pancakes have a simple and quick way. This is how my mom always prepared them for dinner or breakfast. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min.
  • 4 eggs

  • 400 ml milk

  • 400 ml sour water

  • pinch of salt

  • 4 Tbsp Olive oil

  • 1 grated lemon peel

  • 1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g

  • 400 g soft flour

Preparation:
  1. Beat the eggs and add less than half of the flour, mix with a whisk, then add vanilla sugar, lemon peel, oil, 1/2 of the milk, 1/2 sour water and mix.

  2. At the end, add the rest of all the ingredients and mix the dough again without lumps.

  3. The dough must not be too thick and not too thin.

  4. Pour very little oil into a non-stick pan and wait for it to heat up over moderate heat.

  5. With a ladle, scoop more than half of the dough and pour it into the non-stick pan, spread the dough around the pan in a circular motion.

  6. Fry each side for about 2-3 minutes. Turn with a thin spatula.

  7. As the pancakes pile up, ask someone to help you immediately and spread them while they are hot.

  8. You can use jam, nuts, sugar, Nutella as a spread.

NOTE:

  • If the dough is thick, add a little milk, if it is thin, add more flour.

  • Keep the pancakes at room temperature covered with nylon foil. That way they will keep their softness.
