Orange Sauce

  • This sauce can be used as a topping for waffles, cinnamon biscuits, pancakes, in oatmeal for ice cream and as a topping for vanilla or chocolate cakes. Read more about sterilization jars!

Ingredients: cup- 240 ml, simple, total time: 30 min.
  • 1/4 cup orange juice

  • 1 Tbsp unsalted butter

  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar

  • 1/3 cup Grand Marnier optionally, replace with more orange juice

  • 1/2 tsp cornstarch

Preparation:
  1. Put 1 teaspoon of orange juice in a small bowl.

  2. Melt the butter in a small saucepan over a slightly moderate heat. Stir in remaining orange juice, add sugar and Grand Marnier / cognac made from orange and sugar.

  3. Allow the mixture to boil and cook for 10 minutes, the liquid must be reduced. After that, when it has boiled, add the corn starch to a separate part of the orange juice, stir until you get a uniform mixture, and then add it to the mixture that is cooking.

  4. Stir for 1 minute. Then remove from the heat and allow the sauce to thicken.

2. Recipe for Orange Sauce
Ingredients:
  • 1 tsp grated orange peel

  • 1 tsp butter

  • 2 cups orange juice

  • 1/2 cup sugar

  • 1 Tbsp cornstarch

Preparation:
  1. Take a small pot and put sugar, corn starch, and grated orange peel and orange juice on a slightly moderate heat. Cook the mixture for about 7 minutes. Stir constantly.

  2. Turn off the heat and add the butter and stir the mixture well. The sauce is ready and leave to cool. You can pack it in smaller jars and store it in the refrigerator.

3. Recipe Orange Sauce
Ingredients:
  • 4 oranges

  • 2 orange peel

  • 1 lemon juice

  • 1/2 lemon peel

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 cup of boiling water

  • — Cook longer until the sauce thickens.

NOTE: If you are making a sauce for children, then avoid putting Grand Marnier cognac.

Pack the syrup in sterilized jars, store in a refrigerator — cool place, another 10 days. You can pack them in the freezer and store them for up to 2 months!
