Old recipe Crumble Apple Cake

  • This is how our grandmothers used to make a combination of crumbly dough in difficult times. In this recipe, it is excellent, because there is no mixing of the dough, but the mixture of dry ingredients is immediately placed in the baking dish. Then it is poured with the apple filling which is also not cooked, then again with the base and finally with cold butter, it is grated all over the base. During the Second World War, there were many families with many children, so this recipe was practiced a lot because there was no time. One of those families was my mother, who told me how they ate in those days, so she bequeathed this recipe to me. Today, some housewives still use it often, because it is extremely easy to prepare and very tasty! Juicy apple cake that will be ready in no time. I assume you already have all these ingredients in your kitchen. Even if you have decided to try your culinary skills for the first time, you will have the perfect dessert for every day. The time you will spend is only on grating apples, I give that chore to my husband 😀 and everything else is a piece of joke. This is the old way of dry baking cakes, and it's really a joke. NOTE :

  • I used 150 ml coffee cups and poured them all the way to the top.

  • If you don't want sugar all the way to the top of the glass, reduce by two tablespoons in each glass.(for filing and base).

  • Instead of apples, you can use a mixture of berries, which you will mix with sugar, cook on low heat until it thickens. Feel free to control the taste and add more sugar as needed, you can also add a sheet of gelatin if you like it thicker. You can do the same with apricots or a peach, with the fact that you cut them into cubes.
