This is a recipe for sweet snails that I always make when I feel like eating something sweet and delicious, they are wonderful, you have to try them. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 60 min.
Dough-raising mixture:
1/2 yeast/ or 20 g
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon flour
200 ml lukewarm milk
(yeast a little sugar, and pinch of salt, and 1/2 tsp flour pour in warm milk. It must stand for 15 minutes, after passed time, stir with other ingredients for dough)
2 egg yolks,
80 g butter,
200 g sugar and
500 g flour to be milkier.
Divide into 2 noodles, roll out the dough and place the other on a board, work one out and fill it:
Fill:
3 egg whites,
200 g sugar,
1 bag vanilla sugar/ 10 g,
200 g of ground walnuts.
For the filling: first beat the egg whites and gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar, finally add walnuts and mix everything with a spatula.
Preparation:
Knead and coat the first and then the second dough.
Spread the dough lengthwise and widthwise towards the baking tray.
Fill with half of the filling and fold into a roll and cut to the thickness of your fingers, then place them horizontally on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
That's why it's time to roll out the second dough on a board while the dough is still soft, fill, then put them on paper and bake in the oven at 180 °C.
Bake until golden brown.
When you take them out of the oven, roll them in powdered sugar and arrange them on a large tray.
2. Recipe For Snails with Walnuts
Ingredients: Dough:
800 g flour
40 g fresh yeast/ or 14 g dry yeast
300 ml hot milk
200 g butter
4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 egg yolks
Filling:
3 egg whites
200 ground walnuts
4 Tablespoon sugar
For Topping: you don't have to make it/ optional
300 ml water or milk
2 slice of lemon
50 g sugar
For rolling:
powdered sugar for rolling snails
NOTE: To raise the yeast, put 150 ml of milk, yeast, 1 teaspoon of sugar. After 15 minutes, add the remaining dough ingredients. This recipe uses the same working method as the first recipe, only the quantities are different. In this recipe, you have the addition of dressing that is put on the hot snails, in this case you will do it first to make it a cold syrup!
