Mexicans like beans to be completely cooked. The dish is unusually spicy so that it has no taste at first, but when you get used to it, it is extremely pleasant. You can prepare it, of course, and less spicy. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: medium, total time: 2h 40 min. 6 serving
150 g of fresh tallow from fresh bacon
1 onion/ finely chopped
500 g minced beef
250 ml hot ground chili peppers
250 ml of thick boiled tomatoes
1 kg of beans
1/2 cup grated greasy cheese
Preparation:
The day before preparing this recipe, soak the beans in cold water to stand overnight. Throw away that water and put the beans on the side.
Melt the sliced bacon and tallow and fry the onion on it. Then stir in the meat and fry until it turns brown.
Add salt and pepper to taste, and add chili peppers. Mash the peppers and tomatoes, cover the pot and cook for 20 minutes and add water as needed.
Pour it all into one earthenware dish and add the beans.
Bake in the oven at 180 °C, 1–2 hours. When the beans are done, grate the greasy cheese and parsley leaves. Beans serve warm. Buon appetito!
