Mashed Potatoes for Two

  • You won't need a mixer for this recipe, just mash the potatoes with a hand mixer. The recipe is very simple, and the mashed potatoes are very tasty. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 2 serving
  • 2 big potatoes/ peeled and diced

  • 20 g butter

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 70 ml milk

  • hand whisk

  • small pot

  • water

Preparation:
  1. Peel the potatoes and clean them of all impurities.

  2. Then cut it into cubes, put it in a small pot and cover it with water just enough to cover the potatoes, add a spoonful of salt and stir.

  3. Let it cook at a low-moderate temperature for 27 minutes.

  4. When the potatoes have softened, turn off the heat.

  5. Mash the potatoes with a fork so that no lumps remain. Add 1/2 teaspoon of salt and butter, mix well with a hand whisk. Slowly add milk and mix circularly, until you get a smooth, homogeneous mixture.

  6. You can also do this with a stick mixer instead of a hand whisk!

  7. Purée is ready to serve!

  8. Serve warm!

  • In case you don't have milk, you can add a little warm water.

  • Keep the rest of the purée in the refrigerator for up to 2 days
