Lava Chocolate Cake

  • Quick and juicy dessert in just a few minutes. It is easy to prepare! You can serve with vanilla ice cream, fresh fruit or simply sprinkled with powdered sugar. Follow the recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min, 4 serving
  • 185 g semisweet chocolate/ finely chopped

  • 115 g butter/ cut in cubes

  • 3 eggs/ room temperature

  • pinch of salt

  • 150 g granulated sugar

  • 2 Tablespoon all-purpose flour

  • 4 teaspoons cocoa/ without sugar

Preparation:
  1. Grease and flour four 180 ml ramekins.

  2. Heat the oven to 200 °C.

  3. Put the butter and chocolate with the thicker bottom over the boiling water and steam, stirring constantly with a spatula, until the ingredients melt for about 6 minutes.

  4. Combine the sugar and eggs in a deep bowl, beat until the mixture becomes smooth and shiny, about 6 minutes. Add melted chocolate, flour, cocoa powder and a pinch of salt until combined. Mix all ingredients well until combined.

  5. Pour the dough into the prepared baskets and place on a baking sheet.

  6. Bake in the preheated oven until the sides are firm, and the center is still wobbly, 10-13 minutes.

  7. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.

NOTE:

  • You can sprinkle them with powdered sugar or serve them with some fresh fruit of your choice. It can also be served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
