This peach sauce is fantastic! Have several types of purposes, for: drinks, cakes as a topping or served with some parfait, and here is a nice recipe on how to make it, you can put the excess in sterile jars and store in the refrigerator. Read more about sterilizing jars.
Ingredients:
10 peaches, peeled and pitted
1 and 1/2 lemon juice
200 g of sugar
100 ml water
Preparation:
Peel a squash, grate it and cook it. Cut them in half and remove the stone. Put some water and peaches in a deeper pot and let them soften, about 20 minutes.
When the peaches have softened, add them to a blender and process them to make a smooth mixture.
Then return them to the pot to cook further and add the lemon juice and sugar and cook for some 10–15 minutes. Cook until the sugar dissolves. ENJOY!
NOTE: If your peaches are very sweet, reduce the sugar in the composition.
This sauce can be used as a topping for some parfaits or drinks, as well as a topping for cakes.
