Homemade Chestnut Purée

  • Homemade chestnut purée in a simple my way, and easy preparation, you will have the perfect dessert for more people. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time 1h and 10 min.,persons
  • 600 g of peeled chestnuts

  • 150 ml of water

  • 70 g of sugar

  • 15 ml of vanilla aroma

  • 50 ml liqueur Baileys

To decorate:

  • 300 ml whipping cream

  • sliced chocolate

Preparation:
  1. Cut the chestnuts down the middle with a sharp knife, I always let my husband do that part.

  2. Cook the chestnuts in water over a low heat for about 35 minutes.

  3. After that, leave them to cool and clean them.

  4. Grind the peeled chestnuts in a blender until you get a compact mixture, add a little water, vanilla extract, little sugar and Baileys liqueur blend it all once more.

  5. During this time, make the whipped cream according to the instructions on the bags.

  6. Until you get a thick mixture.

  7. Pour the blended chestnuts into glasses and flatten, decorate the whipped cream over them with the help of a cake syringe.

  8. Finally, sprinkle with grated chocolate if you like.
