Homemade bread in the Serbian and simple way, without much waiting for the dough to rise. The preparation is quick and very simple. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 80 min.
500 ml lukewarm water
1/2 tsp sugar
1 tsp salt
1 bag dry yeast/ 10g
500 g wheat flour/ +100 g for work surface and dough
3 Tbsp Olive oil
Preparation:
Pour sugar and yeast into lukewarm water, mix without lumps and leave for 10-15 minutes.
In another bowl, mix the flour and salt, add the liquid with the yeast and oil mix the dough with a wooden spoon without lumps.
Put the finished dough in the oven at 40 °C, so that it rises faster, about 30 minutes.
After the set time, put the dough on a floured work surface and flour the dough for, work out the dough with the help of a spatula.a few minutes.
The dough must be stretchy and soft.
Divide it into two parts, then make the shape you want.
Flour the baking paper and the dough to transfer easier to the pan.
If the firm is broken, fix it in the pan with help of a spatula.
Place it on baking paper in a pan and bake it in a preheated oven at 250 °C, with steam 35-40 minutes.
If you don't have the steam oven option, pour water into a metal bowl and put it on the bottom of the oven, that way you'll get a nice bread crust.
When the bread is golden brown and the crust is well baked, take it out of the oven.
