I regularly make a wonderful Italian Bolognese with gnocchi at this time, with the addition of béchamel sauce. For this recipe, you will need ingredients for bolognese and gnocchi, an incredible and delicious meal, that is ready relatively quickly. Ideal for lunch or dinner. You can prepare the filling the day before and the entire preparation, so that it stays in the refrigerator the day before cooking. Follow the recipe because it is incredibly delicious.
Ingredients: baking dish 20x20 cm, simple, total time: 55 min., 4 serving
500 g of gnocchi
1 onion/ finely chopped
2 medium carrots/ finely chopped
handful celery stalk/ finely chopped
70 ml white wine
1 big clove of garlic/ minced
400 g of minced meat/ pork and beef
250 g of grated Mozzarella
1 teaspoon dry basil
1 teaspoon oregano/ or to taste
400 g of tomato paste
150 ml water/ or as needed
20 g Parmesan cheese/ grated as desired
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black pepper/ or to taste
1 tsp red ground pepper
2 Tbsp Olive oil EVO
Preparation:
Prepare all the ingredients as described above.
Finely chop the celery, carrots, and onion separately in a super chopper
Pour the olive oil into a large pan, heat it over moderate heat.
Fry the onion for a few minutes until it becomes transparent.
Add celery, carrots, and simmer for about 10 minutes, with stirring occasionally.
After that, add minced garlic wait for the garlic to smell, pour wine over it, wait for the alcohol to evaporate about 2-3 minutes, then add a minced meat. Simmer 10-15 minutes, (wait for the water to come out of the meat). Cover the pan and stir occasionally.
Then add tomato paste, cook for 10–15 minutes, with stirring occasionally with adding water as needed.(150 m). Immediately add salt, black pepper, red ground pepper, basil and oregano leaves, stir well, reduce heat and cover pan. Stir occasionally.
When the sauce has formed — thickened and acquired a nice color, turn off the heat.
Now heat the water for the gnocchi and add a little salt. Let it boil, then add the gnocchi and cook for 30 second. Strain the gnocchi well.
While waiting for the gnocchi, prepare the mozzarella, chop, or grate.
In a baking dish, 20×20 cm, add 1 tablespoon of sauce.(coat the bottom of the dish.)
Then pour strained gnocchi, half the sauce, half grated mozzarella, mix it all, then add the rest of the mozzarella and filling and distribute evenly.
Add grated mozzarella to cover all top.
Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and oregano or basil leaves.
Bake in a heated oven at 200 °C for about 15-17 minutes.
Serve warm.

If you want, you can add some peeled tomatoes on top if you like.
Keep the rest of the food in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, covered.
You can also freeze it for the following days up to 2 weeks.
