  • According to this recipe, my grandmother used to prepare fashir schnitzel, so she passed on the knowledge to my mother. I got this recipe from my mom and I prepare it quite often because they are really tasty and juicy. For this recipe, you will need minced meat, you can use mixed meat or only pork or beef, spices, parsley, onions, eggs, garlic, and corn flour. Mostly, we all have all of the above at home. The preparation is quick and simple, it is ready in just 35-40 minutes. These fasher schnitzels go well with mashed potatoes, fried potatoes, rice or other vegetables, spinach or peas, asparagus. Be sure to try it! Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 mi. 4 serving
  • 600 g pork minced meat/ pork leg

  • 1 small onion/ finely chopped

  • 3 cloves of garlic/ minced

  • 1 tsp red-hot ground pepper/ or 1 tsp red ground pepper if you don't like spicy

  • 1-2 slice of stale bread, soft part bath in 150 ml milk

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 tsp dry spice Vegeta

  • 1/2 tsp baking powder

  • 1 Tbsp fresh parsley/ finely chopped

  • 6-7 Tbsp fine corn flour/ or as needed

Preparation:
  1. In a deep bowl, add the minced meat and all the spices from the description, finally add the eggs, parsley and well-drained bread.

  2. Mix all the ingredients well for about 10 minutes.

  3. Oil your palms and use a spoon to scoop out the mixture, first shape it into a ball and then slightly flatten it to 1 cm thick.

  4. Fry in slightly hot oil, until golden brown on both sides, about 5-6 minutes each side on moderate heat.

  5. If you have leftover fried onions, just remove them from the pan with a thin spatula and add a little oil as needed.

  6. Serve warm with mashed potatoes, french fries, or some other side dish as you like.

  7. Serve warm!

Buon appetito!
