Fashir minced schnitzel is easy to prepare, with a little seasoning you will get schnitzels for the whole family of four. Preparation is quick and easy. For this recipe you will need fresh ground meat, mixed or special beef or pork, onions, old bread or crumbs and spices. You can combine as you like, with tomato sauce, or weed dill sauce with the addition of mashed potatoes, baked potatoes, peas, spinach, or rice. Follow the recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min., 4 serving
630 g of minced meat
1 medium onion/ finely chopped
1 egg
3 full Tbsp breadcrumbs/or as needed, or 1 stale bun bath in 100 ml water and well drained
1 tsp salt
1 tsp dry spice Vegeta
1/2 tsp black pepper/ or to taste
2 Tbsp fresh parsley/ or 2 tsp dry
flour as needed/ for dipping steaks optional
little oil for frying
Preparation:
Finely chop the onion and parsley. Set aside.
Cut the bun in half lengthwise and dip it in a little water to soften it, and let it rest for 10 minutes. After that, drain it well.
In a deep bowl, add minced meat, well-drained bun, salt, dry spice Vegeta, black pepper, chopped parsley, onion, and 1 egg.
Mix everything well for about 10 minutes.
You can also in a dough machine on medium speed for about 7 minutes.
Oil your palms and take out the mixture with help of a spoon, first form balls a little smaller than tennis balls, press with the palm of your hand but not too much. They should be about 1 cm thick, diameter 5 cm.
Now if you want you can roll them in flour.
Heat the oil over moderate heat and fry the fashir steaks until they are golden brown on both sides.
If you have leftover fried onions, just remove them from the pan with a thin spatula and add a little oil as needed.
Place the finished steaks on a kitchen towel.
Serve with baked potatoes, mashed potatoes or spinach, and peas.
Buon appetito!
NOTE:
You can also grill this schnitzel or in the oven.
Keep the rest of the steaks in the refrigerator for up to 2 days.
