Crispy Chicken

  • When I want to eat chicken a crispy way, I make it every time like this. They are very juicy and so delicious!! Soft on the inside and crispy on the outside, which is a real pleasure in every bite! You can also add chopped or powdered garlic, I didn't add it this time. You can also add grated Parmesan to the crumbs if you like the taste of cheese, but then add a little less salt. Furthermore, you will need only few ingredients that you already have in your kitchen. It is quick and easy to make. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, 50 min. 4 serving

For Chicken Meat:

  • 2 piece chicken breast/ cut into fillet thick 1 finger

  • 1 tsp each/ salt, black, pepper, dry spice-Vegeta

  • 2 flat tsp red ground pepper

  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil EVO

  • 1/2 tsp red-hot crushed flakes

Egg Mixture:

  • 2 tsp flat mustard

  • 3 eggs/scrambled

  • 1 flat tsp turmeric

and for rolling:

  • 7 Tbsp breadcrumbs/ or as needed

  • 150 g of crushed cornflakes

  • 130 ml oil for frying

Preparation:
  1. Cut the white meat into steaks 7 mm thickness.

  2. Use a smaller rolling pin to separate the white meat if you want, I don't do that. I prefer when the steaks remain a little juicier in the middle, and that's a matter of taste!

  3. In a bowl add chicken steaks add salt, black pepper, dry spice/ Vegeta, little oil, red ground pepper, and 1/2 tsp red-hot crushed pepper.

  4. Mix all the ingredients well by hand into the chicken meat. Leave in refrigerator 20-30 minutes.

  5. You can also prepare the meat the day before and leave it in the fridge overnight.

  6. Mix mustard, eggs, and turmeric in a bowl, without lumps, with a hand whisk. Combine the ingredients well.

  7. Turn on the oven to heat it to 220 °C.

  8. Grease a pan or ovenproof dish with oil.

  9. Roll each piece of meat in eggs then in breadcrumbs, then again in eggs then in crumbled cornflakes.

  10. When you dip the steaks in the eggs, drain well, use a fork to turn them. Roll several times in crumbs and corn flakes, it should be well covered.

  11. Arrange on baking paper in ovenproof dish, side by side.

  12. Bake in a heated oven, at the same temperature, for 15-20 minutes. During baking, turn the steaks as needed.

  13. If you fry the meat in a pan of oil, wait for it to heat up well, and at the same time make the reading of steaks.

  14. Fry the browned meat for 4–5 minutes on each side at a medium temperature.

  15. Serve warm with side dish: with tartar sauce, mayonnaise, french fries, spinach, mashed potatoes, rice, or other.

NOTE:
  • In this way, you can fry in oil or in the oven, the choice is yours.

  • If you want, you can add 2 cloves of chopped garlic to the marinade.

  • If you want and like Parmesan cheese, you can add it to the breadcrumbs.

  • If you don't like mustard too much, you can leave it out or put just one spoonful.

  • You can also use oatmeal that you will blend briefly, they must be coarsely ground if you don't really want to use corn flakes, or you don't have them at home.

  • You can also use rest parts of chicken meat such as drumsticks or mini drumsticks.

  • Keep the rest of the fried chicken covered in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days. Heat in the oven or in a pan without oil.
