Fantastically delicious Tunisian dish Couscous, healthy and low-calorie, which can be made in more than 100 ways, an ideal side dish that goes with chicken and even other types of meat. This is one of the recipes that I use all the time, and you can also combine other vegetables. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min.,
1 zucchini/ diced
1 spring onion/ chopped
2 fresh green pepper/ diced
1 fresh red pepper/ diced
2 carrots/ grated
1/2 Tablespoon fresh weed dill
200 g Couscous
600 ml water + 1 cube vegetable for soup
1/2 tsp salt
little black pepper to taste
olive oil
Preparation:
Cut all the vegetables into equal cubes except the carrots.
Sauté all the vegetables in a lot of olive oil until they are a little soft.
When the vegetables are soft, add the soup cube and 200 ml of water, season to taste with salt and pepper. After 10 min, add more 200 ml water, add weed dill. There is no seasoning before adding the couscous, so this broth must be a little saltier, but the couscous will pick up all the salt. After 10 min., add the last glass of 200 ml, wait for it to boil. Gradually add the couscous and stir to combine all the ingredients, reduce the heat. Cook the couscous for about 5–6 minutes and turn off the heat. This couscous goes fantastically with chicken meat and other. Serve warm. Enjoy in bites!
