Classic Buzara

  • Delicious and classic Buzara, which is served throughout the Mediterranean countries, as an appetizer. A wonderful and delicious sea scent combined with tomato sauce. Easy to make and quick to finish. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 45 min. 6 servings
  • 2 Tablespoon Olive oil / or to taste

  • 300 g mussels/ cleaned

  • 200 g clams/ cleaned

  • 150 g shrimps/ cleaned

  • 200 g prawns/ cleaned

  • salt and black pepper to taste

  • 4 cloves of garlic/ finely chopped

  • 1 bunch of parsley/ finely chopped

  • 120 ml dry white wine

  • 50 g bread crumbs

  • 100 g cherry tomatoes/ diced

  • 200 ml puréed tomato

  • a bunch of spring onions/ finely chopped

  • 6 slices toast bread

  • deep pan

Preparation:
  1. Prepare all the ingredients as described above. Heat a little olive oil in a deep pan. Fry garlic and 1/4 from the quantity of parsley in olive oil.

  2. When the garlic is allowed to add fragrance, cover with 100 ml wine. Wait for the alcohol to evaporate, then add cleaned shrimps, prawns, stir well. Season with a little salt and pepper and cover. Stir as needed.

  3. Add a 50 ml wine, wait for 1 minute, then cover immediately with puréed tomatoes. Right after that, add spring onions and fresh diced cherry tomatoes. Stir well. Cook about 10–15 minutes. If the sauce is too thick for you, add wine as needed.

  4. Add cleaned mussels and clams. Sprinkle with breadcrumbs and cover. Stir and cook about 10 minutes. Cut a slice of bread and toast it on both sides. Place it in a deep plate.

  5. Buzara is served on toasted bread and covered with sauce.

  6. Sprinkle it with coarsely chopped parsley. Enjoy in bites!
