A beautiful dessert for any occasion, an ideal snack for breakfast with tea or white coffee. It is easy to prepare and ready quickly. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 115 min.
Dough:
375 g of flour
7 g of instant dry yeast/ or 21 g fresh yeast
25 g of sugar
8 g of vanilla sugar
5 g of salt
180 ml of warm milk
50 g of soft butter
125 g of butter
Filling:
100 g of sugar
1 Tablespoon of ground cinnamon
Brush:
1 egg
1 Tbsp milk
40 g melted butter
Preparation:
In a bowl, combine dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, sugar and vanilla sugar. Stir well to blend.
Also add the milk and butter, then mix with a wooden spoon.
When the ingredients are well blended, knead with your hands until you get a smooth and homogeneous dough.
Cover with plastic wrap and leaven for 45 minutes.
Work the dough again, roll it out with a rolling pin into a rectangle.
Spread half the surface with the butter, then fold the other half over it. Roll out with a rolling pin.
Repeat the step 3 or 4 times.
Brush the dough with a little water and sprinkle with a mix of sugar and cinnamon.
Roll the dough into a loaf and divide into two equal parts.
Rest in the fridge for 30 minutes, then cut the dough into 12 brioches.
Using the handle of a wooden spoon, squash the brioche in the center.
Brush the brioches first with a butter, then with beaten egg and milk.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C for 20 minutes. Serve warm. Enjoy in bites!
