Very good Serbian chicken sour soup with vegetables and fragrant. It is simple preparation. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 70 min., 6 servings
350 g of poultry/ or chicken trimmings
3 carrot/chopped
2 primrose root/chopped
1 smaller celery root/ chopped
1 parsnip root/chopped
1 head of onion/ whole
10 peppercorns
1 egg/ scrambled
salt and pepper to taste
1 Tbsp dry spice
100 ml sour cream
1 lemon juice
1 Tbsp parsley leaves/finely chopped
pinch of weed dill/ finely chopped
Preparation:
Put washed poultry or chicken chops in a pot, pour 1.5 liters of water over it and cook. Add one root from each green, a small head of chopped onion and a few peppercorns. Add salt to the soup, add spice as desired.
When the meat is cooked, strain the soup and cook with an egg beaten in sour cream.
Separate the meat from the bones, chop it and return it to the soup.
Mash the vegetables with a fork and return to the soup.
Serve with sour cream and lemon juice.
For decoration, use parsley leaves or weed dill. Buon appetito!
