Potato Pizza with Chicken and Mushrooms

  • Interesting pizza made from potato dough with additions of chicken and mushrooms. It is delicious and easy to prepare, if you want to please your friends, here's your chance. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 80 min., 4 servings
  • 1 onion/ finely chopped

  • 300-350 g of chicken/ thin cubes

  • 200 g of mushrooms/ into strips

  • 20 g butter

  • 50 ml milk

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 pinch tsp dry spice/garlic powder, a little pepper, turmeric, curry is your choice

  • 3-4 medium potatoes

  • 1 egg

  • 5 full Tablespoons flour

  • Trappist cheese for sprinkling

  • 1 teaspoon Parsley leaf

  • crushed hot pepper/ optional

  • 1 Tbsp oil

Preparation:
  1. Sauté the chopped onion, add a little water if necessary, until the onion gets a nice yellow color.

  2. Chop the chicken fillet into small cubes, add the chicken to the onion, stir it well, meanwhile chop the mushrooms add it to the pan.

  3. After 10 minutes, add all the spices you like.

  4. Take 4 potatoes with peel and put in the water to boil.

  5. After 25 min. clean them, strain them with a fork, add 20 g butter, 50 ml l milk and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Mix it well then add 1 egg, 5 tablespoons of flour to the mashed potatoes, mix everything well to combine ingredients.

  6. Take a 22 cm mold, (It does not matter whether it is round or square), put the baking paper on the bottom of the mold. Baking paper must be so that it covers the edges of your mold.

  7. Then place the mashed potatoes in the mold, arrange nicely, make a small indentation in the middle, add the chicken with mushrooms.

  8. Take the aluminum foil, fold it, and put it in the already preheated oven 180 °C, bake 20 min.

  9. When is passed, take out and grate the Trappist cheese into the mold, put it back in the oven and bake for another 15–20 minutes. Serve warm. Buon appetito!
