In this attachment you have two recipes, both are prepared in the same way. With the fact that the first lasts 3 weeks and the second lasts 6 weeks. Follow recipe.
1. Recipe
Ingredients:
1 liter of brandy
500 g of sugar
1 vanilla sugar
2–3 sticks of cinnamon
8-10 whole cloves
Mix all ingredients and leave in the sun for 3 weeks. When ready, strain and pour into sterile bottles.
2. Recipe
Ingredients:
2 kg of cherries together with pits
1 kg of sugar
4 vanilla sugar
1 sliced lemon
2 cinnamon sticks
about 10-15 whole cloves
1.5 l brandy
a piece of freshly peeled ginger
Preparation:
First, prepare a large jar that you have previously washed. It should be with as wide a neck as possible, so that you can put everything that goes into the liqueur into it.
Wash the cherries together with the pits and prepare the rest of the ingredients. Cut the lemon into pieces. Peel the ginger root and also cut it into smaller pieces. (You can buy ginger root in almost all major stores like Kaufland)
Put all the dry ingredients in a jar and pour brandy over it. Mix everything gently.
Close the jar tightly with a lid or cellophane and a rubber band, so that the alcohol does not evaporate.
Mix everything together from time to time. Brandy will change color over time, you should keep it in the sun for 6 weeks.
After about 6 weeks have passed, i.e., until the sugar has completely dissolved, strain the liqueur through a sieve, then pour the clear liqueur through a funnel into clean bottles.
NOTE: You can put a few cherries in the bottle, which gives the cherry a refined and stronger taste over time!
