Cereal Biscuits

  • Healthy and delicious cereal cookies, which are very easy to make, and every bite you will enjoy it. Follow my recipe.

Ingredients: total time: 50 min. about 40 biscuits, simple
  • 140 g oat flakes

  • 140 g spelled flakes

  • 80 g corn flakes

  • 40 g raisins/ chopped finely

  • 40 g dried cranberries/ chopped finely

  • 80 g hazelnuts/ blended

  • 180 g wholemeal soft wheat flour

  • 100 g whole cane sugar

  • 1 sachet baking powder/ 10 g

  • 2 eggs/ scrambled

  • 180 ml seed oil/ or butter melted

  • 80 ml maple syrup/ or 5–6 tablespoons of honey

  • 4 tsp water

Preparation:
  1. Put oatmeal, rice, and cornflakes in a deeper plastic bowl.

  2. Mix and press them lightly with your fingers to crush them.

  3. Add raisins and dried cranberries to cereal flakes.

  4. Add the blended hazelnuts

  5. Mix everything and add wholemeal flour, brown sugar and baking powder.

  6. Mix everything.

  7. In another dish, beat the egg with a fork and add the oil slowly, stirring constantly.

  8. Also add the maple syrup and 2 teaspoons of water.

  9. Pour everything into the cereal mix and mix all.

  10. You will get a sticky and not compact dough.

  11. Leave to stand for 30 minutes in the refrigerator.

  12. After that time, pour the dough on a sheet of baking paper, cover with another sheet and roll out with a rolling pin.

  13. You should get a very thin layer of dough.

  14. Use a pastry cutter to cut the biscuits and arrange them on a baking sheet.

  15. When the biscuits are ready, put them in a preheated oven at 170 °C to bake for 15–20 minutes.

  16. The cookies are ready when they become darker on the surface.

  17. Remove from the oven and let them cool.

  18. Once cool, put them in a cookie box.
