Brussels Sprouts with Honey and Soy

  • Broccoli in the Asian way, wonderful and delicious if you like this vegetable, I advise you to make it, you can serve it with rice, pork in the Chinese way. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 20 min., 2 servings
  • 20 brussels sprout/ cut in half

  • 3 cloves of garlic/ finely chopped

  • 1 flat teaspoon of honey

  • 2 Tablespoon soy sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil

  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds/ optional

  • pepper to taste

Brussels Sprouts with Honey and Soy
Preparation:
  1. Clean the brussels sprouts from the outer leaves, and cut in half. Put them in a strainer and put them on a pot of boiling water, cover, and steam for about 5 minutes. While the broccoli is cooking, finely chop the garlic and stir it in a bowl with honey and soy sauce.

  2. Toast the sesame seeds a few minutes in a pan without oil. Add the fried seeds to the sauce.

  3. Arrange the cooked Brussels sprouts on a lightly oiled pan with the cut side down, put on a medium low heat, let them bake lightly until golden brown.

  4. Pour the prepared sauce over the roasted Brussels sprouts, season to taste and stir. Reduce the heat and cook 5–6 minutes.

  5. You can serve it with rice, or as a side dish with roasted chicken or some other meat. Buon appetito!
