Breaded Sardines

  • Breaded sardines in a quick and easy way, ready in just 25 minutes. For this recipe you will need sardines, eggs, a little milk, salt, flour, and breadcrumbs. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 30 min. 3-4 serving
  • 500 g sardines

  • flour as needed

  • breadcrumbs as needed

  • 2 eggs

  • 50 ml milk

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • slices of lemon

Preparation:
  1. Sardines cut belly and open them like steaks.

  2. Place the flour in a plate.

  3. Add breadcrumbs in another plate.

  4. Add eggs, salt and milk in a deeper plate and mix well.

  5. Roll each sardine in flour on all sides, then add to the beaten egg mixture, drain well, then in the breadcrumbs.

  6. In a large frying pan, add oil and heat well.

  7. Fry the sardines in several pieces, turning until golden brown.

  8. Place the fried sardines on a kitchen towel to absorb excess fat.

  9. Serve with slice of lemon potato salad or with Swiss chard and potatoes.
