An Old Recipe for Pie with Walnuts and Apples

  • An old and good recipe as prepared by our grandmothers with apples and walnuts pie, juicy soft and tasty, that you must try, it is easy to make. Follow recipe.

Ingredients: simple, total time: 40 min.

Fill:

  • 1.5 kg apples/ grated

  • 150 g sugar

  • 350 g walnuts/ grounded

  • 1/2 Tablespoon cinnamon

  • 1 pack 500 g bark (if they are thin 3 takes, if the medium thick are 2 barks

Coating the Crust:

  • 100 g butter

  • 100 ml oil

For Overflow Syrup:

  • 500 ml water

  • 500 g sugar

  • 1 lemon

  • and cut half of lemon on rings

Preparation:
  1. Make the overflow-spray first to cool in time, cook for about 15 minutes.

  2. And set aside to cool.

  3. During that time, peel the apples and grate them, grind walnuts finely. Stir them with sugar and cinnamon. Combine them well, cook it all together for about 10–15 minutes on slow moderate heat.

  4. To prepare the crusts, coat the composition with butter and oil that has melted over a low heat.

  5. Sprinkle one crust, then transfer another crust to do the same, put the third crust coat with mixture of butter and oil, then pour filling, roll it into a roll, do the same with the other crusts.

  6. Coat the baking tray with the same composition with butter and oil with a brush, then arrange the rolls in the baking tray.

  7. Coat top crust with butter and oil.

  8. When they are lined up next to each other, cut into equal cubes or rectangular shapes as you like.

  9. Place to bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for 30 min.

  10. When it’s done, then pour so hot with the cold lemon topping you made. And then it's over. Buon appetito!
