Ingredients: easy, total time: 35 min, 8 persons
2 rolls of puff pastry ready/ 3 packs
150 g ham /chopped into thinner leaves
100 g Edam cheese/ cut into sheets
oregano to taste
2 Tbsp tomato sauce
a little salt
For Coating:
1 egg yolk +50 ml of milk
For Sprinkle:
sesame
cumin seeds
Preparation:
First prepare all the ingredients from the description above.
Cut the ham and cheese into thin slices. Whisk the egg yolk with a little milk in a small bowl.
Take the puff pastry and place it on a baked paper, roll it lightly with a rolling pin over the dough. Place the boiled ham and arrange next to each other. Then arrange the cheese sheets over the ham. Place a point of sauce over each sheet of cheese and sprinkle with a little oregano to taste.
Take another dough and transfer over all ingredients. Using a fork to connect the sides, cut a couple of cuts diagonally. Whisk the egg yolk and milk and use a brush to coat the whole dough as well as the edges.
Sprinkle to your liking with sesame and cumin as much as you like. When you are done, completely turn on the oven to 180 °C, and wait for it to heat up for 10 minutes.
Bake for about 15 minutes.
When the pastry is done, leave it to cool a bit and cover it with a clean dishcloth for about 10 minutes, then serve with kefir or yogurt. Buon appetito!
