Don't throw away old bread, but use it wisely and be economical, you will get a new meal from old bread. Today I decided to make a meal out of old bread, there were a lot of old slices, so I made a delicious meal out of the ingredients I had in the house. You will have a fantastic new meal for breakfast or dinner. Follow recipe.
Ingredients: simple, total time: 35 min. 4-6 serving
4 old bread/ can also 1/4 old pasta
2 slice of dry ham/ diced on 1 cm
1 tomato / diced
4 pickles / diced
1 Tbsp Philadelphia / cream cheese any
2 Tbsp Greek yogurt
1 piece feta cheese/ cut into cubes
4 eggs/ scrambled
300 ml milk
50 ml olive oil EVO
salt and pepper to taste
1 tsp oregano
1/4 tsp red ground pepper
grated Parmesan cheese to sprinkle/ to taste
Preparation:
Cut stale bread, feta cheese, ham, tomatoes into cubes. Chop the gherkins.
Put all those ingredients except feta cheese in a baking dish.
Beat eggs in a deep bowl, add cream cheese, Greek yogurt, milk, chopped feta cheese, olive oil, salt, pepper, oregano and mix it all well.
Pour over the ingredients and mix well, gently press the surface with a fork and flatten.
Sprinkle with red ground pepper and oregano.
Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese to taste. Leave to stand for 10 minutes.
Heat the oven to 180 °C.
Bake for about 25–30 minutes.
Leave to cool a little, then cut into portions and serve immediately with yogurt, sour milk, ajvar or ketchup.

NOTE:
I used ingredients that I had at home. You can combine them with peppers, garlic, onions, spring onions, zucchini. From the meat ingredients, you can add spicy sausages, salami, bacon.
Besides the bread, I had 1 handful of the rest of the pasta, so I also put it in the mixture.
From cheeses, it is most important to use melted mozzarella, Gouda, cheddar, Trappist Edam and cream cheeses.
